High-quality white tea is considered one of the most valuable types of tea, a traditional luxury drink. It was once reserved only for the emperor and his servants.
A good white tea, like our Bois Cheri Premium White Tea in the Limited Edition, is characterized by its round and harmonious taste and is never bitter. What makes this natural premium tea so special? The freshly sprouted leaf buds of the tea can only be harvested on a very few days in spring. The "white tea" got its name because of the special appearance of the young tea buds, which are the main ingredient.
The tea buds are surrounded by a protective white, soft down at the stage of their life cycle when they are hand-picked. The tiny hairs of this fluff can sometimes still be seen on the finished tea leaves. This particularly gentle processing gives the white tea its characteristic, mild taste. A good white tea is characterized by its round and harmonious taste and is never bitter.
Our Bois Cheri Premium White Tea - Limited Edition is characterized by the following distinctive features:

• very well tolerated
• has a cooling, anti-inflammatory and detoxifying effect
• traditional luxury drink
• the beautifier and fountain of youth
• in a practical resealable round metal can, 100% recyclable and refillable
• a nice gift idea
• particularly gentle processing
• mild full-bodied taste
• rich in antioxidants
Since no enzymatic fermentation has taken place with white tea and the tea leaves are processed in a particularly gentle manner, most of the original ingredients are retained.
The high content of caffeine in white tea should be emphasized. With high quality, this is 5-6% based on the dry matter. In comparison, coffee contains only 1-3% caffeine. Nevertheless, the caffeine in white tea is much milder, but longer lasting than in coffee. In addition to caffeine, white tea contains many other ingredients that are not found in such concentrations in other types of tea. These include polyphenols such as antioxidants that bind free radicals in the body's cells and thus strengthen the immune system.
In traditional Chinese medicine, white tea is one of the oldest remedies. With its "cooling" properties, it reduces stress, reduces cholesterol and high blood pressure, has an anti-inflammatory effect and is said to prevent cancer.
For the sake of the environment: our limited editions for loose tea are made of metal and guarantee optimal protection of the tea against light, moisture and all other external influences that could impair the taste. Even after opening, the freshness and taste of our teas are retained. The metal cans with lids are 100% recyclable and refillable.
