Bois Cheri Stone Pepper Schwarztee

Of the Bois Cheri Stone Pepper Schwarztee was named after Pierre Poivre, who played a major role in the establishment of various plant species in Mauritius. Poivre has not only settled the cloves and nutmeg in Mauritius, but also various tea plants. Poivre also opened the famous Pamplemousses Botanical Gardens.

Black tea is one invigorating, fein aromatic A tea variant that can be refined with milk, honey or lemon. Milk contains certain fats that bind the bitter substances in black tea and thus make it appear milder in taste. Here, however, the antioxidant effect of the tea is inhibited. However, this circumstance plays a secondary role for milk lovers. Lemon and honey leave the tea fresher and seem more exotic.

Note the effect of caffeine in tea. A cup of coffee contains 130mg of caffeine. Tea, on the other hand, only contains 50mg of caffeine per cup. This initially sounds like a much smaller amount, but unlike coffee, tea contains tannins that bind to the caffeine. Thus, the longer-lasting effect of the caffeine is only released after a short time.
